Nori uses AI credits to manage usage and keep performance reliable. Here’s how credits work and what’s included for free each day.
Nori’s AI is designed to work alongside you, handling the heavy lifting of family organization. To ensure the service remains fast and reliable for everyone, we use a credit system for AI interactions.
Here is how our AI plans and usage limits work.
What counts as an AI interaction / credit?
An "interaction" or "credit" is consumed whenever you ask the AI to perform a task and it generates a response or action. Examples include:
- Conversations: Asking "What should we have for dinner based on what's in the fridge?"
- Import recipes: Importing your own recipes from URLs, images or descriptions
- Talk with AI through emails: Forward an email to the AI to start a conversation.
Start with free daily access
We believe everyone should experience how AI can reduce their mental load before committing. Every user account comes with a recurring free allowance:
- 10 free AI interactions per day: usage to add a few events / tasks, manage shopping lists, plan meals, import your own recipes or talk with AI through emails
- Per-user tracking: This limit applies to your individual account (User ID), so you can try it out independently of your family members.
- Daily reset: Your credits refresh every day at midnight, giving you a fresh start each morning.
However, you can always use Nori for free with our core tools, even without a subscription. Features like calendar, tasks, recipes, meal planning, and shopping lists are always available for organizing your family’s week. AI assistance is optional and comes with a daily free allowance, so you can try it without committing. If you reach the daily AI limit, everything else continues to work normally.
