Set up your family info in Nori

Once you create a Nori account, your family space is created automatically. You just need to fill in some basic information so everything works smoothly.

Step 1: Open the Nori app and tap the menu icon in the top-left corner.

Step 2: Select Family Setup to edit your family information.

Step 3: Update your family name and upload a family photo.

Invite family members

Step 1: On the Family Setup page, tap Add a member.

Step 2: Set their role, choose a color for this member (the color appears on their calendar events, tasks, and other shared items), enter their name, and upload an avatar if you’d like. To change a member’s color, open the side menu and go to Family Setup, then tap the family member you want to update. Choose a new color, tap Save, and their updated color will automatically appear across their calendar events, tasks, and other shared items.

When inviting someone, you can choose Account & Profile or Profile Only:

• Account & Profile is for people who will use Nori on their own device. They’ll receive an invite and create their own login.

• Profile Only is for young children, pets, or other dependents who don’t have a device or don’t need an account. You can manage their schedule and tasks for them.

Step 3: Choose to invite them by email or share an invite link. Once they join, they’ll automatically see your shared events, tasks, and lists.

How family members join

Joining via invite link

Your family member will receive an invitation link (by email, text, or any app you share it through). They just need to open that link to join your family in Nori.

They should tap the link in that email.

When they open the link in a browser, they’ll see a Join Family button. If they don’t have the Nori app installed yet, tapping the button will take them to the App Store to download it.

After installing Nori, they can tap the Join Family button again. This time, the link will open the app and complete their registration. Once finished, they’ll automatically join your family space.

Joining via invite code

Your family member can download the Nori app from the App Store or Google Play and create their own account. During onboarding, they can tap Join a family.

And they can enter the invite code you shared with them.
