Nori uses notifications to keep you updated on important changes within your family. Make sure notifications are enabled so you don't miss updates, reminders, or task activity.
Enable Notification Permission
iOS
You can turn on notifications in either the Nori app or in system settings.
- Option 1: From Nori app
- Go to Settings > General.
- Turn on Notifications.
- A system dialog will appear; confirm to grant permission.
- Option 2: From iOS Settings
If you disabled Nori notifications earlier:
- Open the Settings app.
- Go to Apps and find Nori.
- Enable Notifications.
What You Will Receive
When notifications are enabled, Nori will send alerts for:
- Event changes (who modified or cancelled an event)
- Task updates (who completed, modified, or deleted a task)
- Reminders for your events and tasks
These help you stay in sync with your family’s schedule and shared responsibilities.
Important Note: Call Alert works when you turn on notification.
